Events and sessions
An event is one evening or a whole term of sessions. A swim school sets up Term Two once, with every class day and time, and parents book the whole term or a single make-up session. Copy it to create Term Three.
Software
Sessions, registrations, payments and capacity, an event platform where you keep the data and skip the per-ticket fees.
Superstack builds the event booking platform NZ training providers, studios and community organisations use when they run the same sessions every term and are tired of paying per seat. You publish events, take registrations and payments, manage capacity and waitlists, check people in and keep every attendee record yourself.

an event booking platform you own
Ticketing platforms suit one-off events. You run the same courses term after term for people you know, so we build a session booking platform around programmes and attendee history, with no per-ticket fee in the way.

Each event carries its own ticket types: adult, child, member, early bird, staff. Prices, limits and sale windows sit on each type. A gym shows a members' rate only to people logged in as members, and a public rate to everyone else.

Registration asks for what you need and nothing else: an emergency contact for a kids programme, a dietary note for a dinner. Payment is by card through Stripe or by invoice for a company booking staff. The receipt goes out on its own.

Selling stops at capacity. A cancellation opens a spot, the first person on the waitlist gets a text with a link, and the offer moves on if they let it lapse. A holiday programme fills cancelled Thursday places without a phone call.

Everyone who has ever booked has a record: sessions attended, payments, notes, waivers, a parent's number. A tutor opening tomorrow's class sees who did the previous course and who is new. Search by name, filter by programme, message a group at once.

Confirmations, reminders and changes go by email or SMS on your schedule: a reminder the day before, a bring-your-togs note before the first session, a venue change to Tuesday's group only. Each message logs against the attendee, so you know who was told.

Every confirmation carries a QR code. At the door, staff scan it, or attendees scan a code on the wall and tap their name. The register fills itself, late arrivals are obvious, and a kids programme knows who is in the building.

A programme manager wants to know which sessions sold out, which ran half-empty, who came every week and who still owes. The reports say so. Export to a spreadsheet, or push a list to your CRM or Mailchimp. It is your data.
You publish the term and the booking page goes live. Registration, payment, confirmation and the reminder before each session run on their own. At the door, a QR scan marks attendance. After the last session, the attendance report reaches the programme manager and a follow-up email goes to everyone who came, with next term linked. Staff step in only for refunds and invoice bookings.
Stripe takes card payments and passes each one to your accounting software as a paid invoice. Mailchimp gets attendee lists by programme. Google Calendar holds every session for the tutor. Twilio sends SMS reminders and waitlist offers. Your CRM and member portal share the attendee record.
Any system with an API connects. Click a logo to visit them.
AI is optional. Most programmes need none. Where it takes a chore off an organiser, we add it. See how we use AI and business process automation.

Who finished beginners but has not booked the next level.
Organisers set up programmes, ticket types and capacity, watch sales per session, process refunds and run reports in the web app. Tutors open it for today's register and notes.
Door staff and tutors use the mobile app to scan QR codes, mark walk-ins, see who is still expected and message a session's attendees from the car park when the venue floods.
Attendees log in to see bookings, tickets and receipts, move sessions, update a child's details and rebook next term. All three share one database, so a parent's swap shows on the tutor's register at once.

Quickest start
We customise the existing Superstack events module with your programmes, ticket types and branding, the quickest route when the complaint is the fees.
Most common
We combine events with a member portal, waivers, QR check-in and your CRM in one platform, where studios and training providers usually land.
Fully bespoke
A fully bespoke platform for what nothing off the shelf handles: timed festival entry, accredited courses with prerequisites, or a workshop booking system tied to equipment.
Eventbrite and Humanitix are built to sell one-off events to the public, charging on every paid ticket and keeping the attendee data. A custom event registration system suits an organisation running the same programme every term: an event ticketing website in your branding, no per-ticket fee, your attendee history, and member rates.
No per-ticket fee, ever. You pay for the build, then hosting and support, and neither rises with ticket sales. The only per-transaction cost is the card processing fee from Stripe, a cost of taking cards rather than of the platform. For a programme selling a term of sessions to hundreds of families, that difference is the business case.
Yes. Recurring programmes are the whole point. A programme holds any number of sessions, and a term groups programmes. Copy Term One to make Term Two, and the booking page is ready. As course registration software NZ providers run all year, it also handles rolling intakes, make-up sessions and carry-over credits.
Yes. One person books several places and either enters each attendee's details or sends them a link to fill in their own. A company books five staff onto a first-aid course and pays by invoice. A parent books three children into the holiday programme, each with their own allergies and pick-up person.
Yes. A waiver can be a step in the checkout, so nobody finishes booking a trampoline session without signing, or a link sent after booking with a green tick at check-in. Signed waivers sit on the attendee record, and a guardian signs for a minor. More on the online waiver system page.
Your refund policy becomes a rule on each event: full refund up to a cut-off, credit after that, or a transfer to another session. Within the policy, attendees cancel from the portal and the refund goes back through Stripe with your accounting software updated. Outside it, staff decide, and the freed place goes to the waitlist.
