Customer App Development

A branded app your customers actually use: bookings, accounts, payments, reminders and support in one place.

Everything flows to your CRMJust now

Superstack offers customer app development NZ businesses can put their own name on. It suits gyms, clinics, cleaners and cafes whose regulars book, pay and ask questions every week. Customers get a branded customer app on their home screen that books, pays and reminds in a few taps. You get less admin and more repeat business.

The problem

every booking is a phone call

  • Half our bookings come in by phone or a social media message. Someone stops what they are doing, checks the diary and replies.
  • We chase payments by email, then by phone. Some customers pay on the day, some a month later.
  • We have no way to reach past customers with an offer. In a quiet week we post and hope.
  • The studio down the road has an app. Members compare us, and we look years behind.
  • Support requests arrive by email, text, phone and Facebook. We answer the same question twice and still miss one.

What Superstack builds

customer app development for repeat business

A customer booking app earns its place on a phone by making the next visit easier than the first. We start with how your customers book, pay and get in touch today, then build only the screens that shorten those steps.

Example workflow

The customer does the work that used to land on your front desk. They download the app, sign up and book without anyone at your end touching a keyboard. Payment goes through Stripe, the reminder sends itself the day before, and the rating prompt follows the visit. Your team steps in only when someone asks a question or leaves a low rating. Every step writes to the customer's record in your CRM.

Integrations

Stripe takes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments and posts each one to your accounting software as a paid invoice. Twilio sends SMS reminders to customers who turn push off. Google and Apple sign-in remove the password step. Your booking system and CRM stay the source of truth, read and written through their APIs.

Any system with an API connects. Click a logo to visit them.

Add AI when it actually makes sense

AI is optional. The app books, pays and reminds without it, and we add AI only where it answers a customer faster or saves your front desk a task. Read how we use AI and where it fits into business process automation.

Web app, mobile app and customer portal

Web app

Your team uses the web app as the admin console. The front desk answers messages and moves bookings, the owner sets offers and watches retention, and accounts checks payments against your accounting software.

Mobile app

Customers use the mobile app on iPhone and Android. It carries your brand, sits on their home screen and handles booking, paying, reminders, messages and reviews. We build this white label customer app once and publish it under your name.

Customer portal

The customer portal is the same account in a browser, for people who will not install anything. They book, pay and read messages from a link. All three share one database, so a portal booking shows in the app and the console straight away.

FAQ

No, not all of them. Customers who book with you every week or two use an app because it sits on their home screen and remembers them. Customers who see you once a year will not install one, and a web portal reached from a link serves them better. Often the right answer is a portal first, with the customer account app added once people ask for it.

An app store app suits customers who come back often and want push notifications, Apple Pay and an icon they tap without thinking. A PWA suits customers who will not download anything: they open a link and add it to their home screen if they like, with no store in the way. Many start with a PWA and add the store app once customers prove they want one.

Payments for services delivered in person, such as a clean or a class, go through Stripe, and the processor's transaction fee is the only cost per payment. Apple and Google take a cut only on digital goods sold inside the app, which a service business rarely sells. Customers save a card once and pay with a tap, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Yes. The app does not have to replace what runs your business today. If your booking system or CRM has an API, the app reads availability and customer records from it and writes bookings, payments and messages back, so your office keeps working in the tools it knows. Where a system has no usable API, we say so early and suggest the smallest workaround.

You do. We publish the app under your business name in your own Apple and Google developer accounts, so the listing, the reviews and the icon belong to you, not to us. Your logo, colours and content stay yours. If you ever change developers, you hand over the accounts and the code and carry on.

Hosting, developer accounts, payment processing and support. Hosting covers the database and servers the app talks to. Apple and Google charge developer account fees for the accounts the app is listed under. Stripe charges per transaction. Support covers small changes and the updates each new iPhone and Android release needs. None of them is a per-customer fee, and we set them out before the build.
